User Needs and Requirements:

Convenient Scheduling: Patients may need a simple and convenient way to schedule appointments, view available appointment times, and receive reminders for upcoming appointments.

Access to Patient Records: Dentists may need a secure place to store and access patient records, including medical history, treatment plans, and x-rays.

Communication with Dentists: Patients may need the ability to communicate with their dentists, including sending messages and receiving updates on their treatment.

Problem Statement:

The major problem with most dental apps is that they may not be able to provide a comprehensive diagnosis or treatment plan for dental issues, while this case study showcases how the app can be useful for basic information on oral hygiene.

Additionally, some dental apps may rely too heavily on algorithms or artificial intelligence, which may not always provide accurate diagnoses or recommendations. It is important for users to recognize those limitations and to seek professional advice from a licensed dentist for any significant dental concerns.

Design Process:

We used the Design Thinking approach for solving this problem. To practice design thinking we followed the below process.
